Allison is an amazing inspiration to me as a Person and an Artist alike. I had been looking for artwork for a client I was working with... I had the pleasure of viewing Allisons artwork, The Pace of Nature and knew immediately it is what I wanted to use! Her work is alive with color, feeling and inspiration!
And dear to myself, I thought Allison would be just the one to help me create a business card I could be proud of....Together we worked and created one that truly represents who I am in words, style and colors...... Thank you Allison!

Allison's graphic design work is absolutely beautiful. I have worked with her on two projects now and both of them turned out beyond my expectations. She really worked with me as a partner to understand my vision both times and made sure the final designs met my expectations. Her rates are very reasonable for the quality of work that she delivers. I would recommend her to anyone as a graphic designer.

Allison is a talented graphic designer who does excellent creative work in her field. Allison helped me with her graphic designing talents in reformatting my margins for my picture book for young children this summer. I am very impressed with her hard work and dedication to complete a project in a timely and professional manner.

Allison recently helped redesign the promotional materials and social media graphics for my business. She also updated our website with new photography. Her work was outstanding. She worked with our style and transformed it with a new, fresh, colorful look. I could not be happier. I have received many comments on how beautiful and professional our materials look. I look forward to working with her in the future.

I received such a special piece of artwork today. My phenomenally talented friend Allison Coelho Picone created this piece and our angel lives on as a reminder that we will never forget Annie. Only the truly connected can see the message in Life Lines.

Light Wave
Acrylic, 48" x 36"
Allison quickly came to my thoughts when I decided to have a painting created to capture the essence of a wave. Being a surfer in New England has its highs and lows, the lows due to its lack of consistent swells. Allison's ability to incorporate the colors, texture and flow of how I described what I was looking for, was spot on. So now when that lack of swell lingers, I'm grateful to have my painting to remind me of the joy the ocean offers, until the next swell occurs.

Beach Boy
Print
Allison (Coelho) Picone was so generous to allow my wife and I to chose a beautiful print of one of her original paintings in exchange for some Distant Reiki which I do for free with the allowance of a donation if one so choses. We chose her "Beach Boy" painting. She is a fine artist and a very good friend.
Thank you so much for your generosity, Allison.

Contemplation in Woodstock
Acrylic, 16 x 12"
The picture Allison Picone painted for me came from a photograph from the 1980's. It was the last vacation my family took together before my mom passed away. Allison enriched that memory using calming colors which brings me back to a simpler time and place. My sister, brother and I playing in the water and my mother's position a the edge of the lake was exactly how I remember. Allison was able to see the exact way my mother stood - the way she carried herself in deep thought. I cherish this painting which hangs proudly in my living room ~ it evokes so many emotions as I look at all the fine detail she chose to use from the picture. She has captured that simpler, emotional time so perfectly. Thank you Allison Picone.

Sacred Peace Along the Path
Acrylic, 24" x 48" Sold
I recently purchased “Sacred Peace Along the Path” from Allison Picone. The whole experience of working with her to evoke my own thoughts and interpretations on the landscape piece up to the final presentation has exceeded my expectations. I saw the piece when it was a work in progress and was drawn to it immediately. The final product now hangs in a lovely frame on our wall and I am still connected to it. It is as if the work is alive and breathes its own emotion and beauty. In my opinion, that represents the work of a talented artist; her passion for her art is animated in her work. I am honored to have it in my home.

Home Sweet Home
Acrylic on canvas, 20 x 16"
I had commissioned Allison Picone to do a painting of our home that was a surprise gift for my husband for Christmas. I was the one surprised, however, when I picked it up. It was beautiful and more than I hoped for. Allison really captured the persona of our home and its landscape. Allison was professional and thorough and stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process. My husband loved the painting and it hangs over our fireplace where we can enjoy it all year long! Thank you Allison!

La Mer, Dialogue Du Vent et De La Mer
Acrylic on canvas, 36 x 24"
Capturing the beauty of nature is truly Allison's calling. She creates art that speaks to your soul. Her color combinations are inspired and just plain beautiful. She can interpret motion and imply energy whether it's a 'simple' wave she has painted or a horse or a specific place. If you commission Allison, she will make certain she is meeting your vision. I asked her to paint a wave as my husband's 40th bday present and she impressed me with her integrity, detailed knowledge and artistic process. She offered to come to the house to see where the painting will be displayed and assess the light in the room. She brought surfing magazines for my husband to figure out what sort of wave captured his imagination, discussed what he liked about it, discussed colors and light effects, asked about the significance and emotional meaning etc. so as to draw a mental idea of what you are hoping to finally 'see' so that she can manifest it for you in a painting. She discussed frames or no frames, contemporary or traditional styles and when it was done, she let us have it for a while so we could determine if we wanted to change anything. She also made suggestions on where to hang it or how to do a grouping etc. From start to finish, the process was a pleasure - easy and fun and the final painting is exactly what my husband had hoped for. We currently own 3 originals from Allison.

Sweet Nakita
Acrylic on canvas, 16 x 20"
What a wonderful talent! Allie helped memorialize my sister's horse, which she had for many years and had to be put down. The painting was so beautiful, it captured Nakita's gentle soul perfectly. Thank you, my friend. Your gift is remarkable.

Our Soul's Journey
Acrylic on canvas, 20 x 16"
To describe the artistic endeavors of Allison Coelho Picone as inspiring would be but a minor description. The act of putting paint to canvas goes far beyond the mechanical, it opens that window to the artists’ soul. Every piece she creates has a story to tell, some as simple as how a landscape inspires, the relationship of family, and the emotion of water and light as depicted in “Light Wave” and “Our Soul’s Journey”. I have the privilege to witness the stages of creation that occur with so many of these works. Allison’s artistic creations continue to contribute to light and love, a positive influence in this world of ours. Her works inspires me every day in such a personal way.

When I was 14 my father sat me down in the front yard to teach me about maritime things so I could work the summers with him on his fishing boat. He started with a piece of manila rope and explained to me how it was made and put together. Plant fibers are twisted into threads, threads into yarns, yarns into strands and strands into rope. Its all twisted together such that the finished line is stronger than the sum of its parts.
Each one of your paintings is terrific. And, as I think you intended, they show more together than they do alone. Together they are a new image.
Greater than the sum of its parts. I know it's a strange analogy. But it's what came to mind.
Don't take this the wrong way but I am glad I wasn't there yesterday.
This afternoon only the gallery owner and his son were there. With nobody in the showroom I found it possible to look at art the only way I know how.
Sitting down and staring for a while.
Everything was outstanding. But I enjoyed gazing at the first wall the most. Each image told a separate part of a complete story which I could only appreciate by taking in the whole thing at once. My individual favorites were among the darker ones with the most contrast. But I am a moody bastard so I guess that's not surprising. "The Queen's Seeds" had a lot of texture that changed the image depending on where you stood from it. And the colors of the blossom were quite striking. "The Day's End" was very dark and, frankly, didn't move me exceptionally when I was walking around close to the wall. But it jumped at me when I looked at it from the other side of the room. The lighting made the flower in the dark seem to come and go as I walked around. "Stay with Me" was a very nice work. It reminded me of a glowing nebula made of twigs and blossoms.
I was also moved by "Autumn Chaos". I really like what you did with
the "luminescent" colors showing the light of a low sun. I could almost feel the warmth on the back of my neck. I remember my father experimented with "luminescent" colors in a painting of a shell he did years ago. I wonder if your techniques were similar to what he was doing then.
Good show. I see it was very successful too. Nicely done. ~ John S.
I loved it all. The stories behind each one really gave meaning to the painting. Love the Queen Anne's lace series and some of the pastel florals that looked like mixed media were my faves. Sorry I didn't stay, but you looked like you had your hands full. More people kept arriving. I did recognize your Dad and stepmom. They looked great. And your daughter is so grown- up! Hope you had a great turn- out!

You are a poet in your written word and in your painting! A wonderful exhibition that shows your unfolding as you followed "the Queen" through her seasonal journey!! ~ Nancy C
You have realized your dream...so few of us ever do. You are a pride and joy to your family and we love you very much. Perhaps some of us have been the impetus to your inspiration. Just love seeing the talent arising from within. ~ Christine N.
