This Queen Anne's Lace Movement mini-series started with an abstraction of the "Day's End" Queen Anne's Lace. From a simple line drawing of the Queen Anne's Lace flower in winter on a paint covered canvas, I have expanded each painting to represent my idée fixe* of life, love, happiness, and light.
