Forever Protected

This is my emotional response to the Sandy Hook tragedy.  It began as an abstract of a Queen Anne's Lace painting, sort of a close-up of her reaching arms, protecting her seeds.  When I first posted the progress on Facebook it had only one seed at the bottom (see last picture below).  The responses I received from that posting was light from within, fertility, life, motherhood, family, shooting stars, peace, unfolding, delicate strength, and security.   Two days after the posting of the first progress came the devastating news of Sandy Hook Elementary.  Because of my own feelings and those words shared by my friends,  I continued painting this as my way of healing.  The twenty-six loved ones in Newtown are forever protected by God and his Angels.
Below are photos taken of the painting while in progress.
