We should all do what, in the long run, gives us joy. ~ E.B. White
I wanted to capture Potter Hill Farm’s builders of the soil, the Belted Galloways and Farmer Jeff’s Farmall Cub tractor.  I came across an article written by Susan Spencer in July 2011 about the beginnings of Potter Hill Farm. “A 1953 Farmall Cub tractor serves as the farm’s primary machine. Mr. Backer said that he likes the low power and slow speed of the tractor because it can’t do much damage. “I think agriculture should be a building of the soil, a healing approach,” he said.” (written by Susan Spencer, Worcester Telegram, July 7, 2011)
